Conformance Standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

Measures We Have Taken

As part of this review, we added a keyboard-accessible skip-to-main-content link, a labeled main landmark, visible focus indicators on interactive elements, programmatically associated labels on form fields that previously relied on placeholder text alone, corrected heading order on several screens, aria-hidden on decorative icons, and live-region announcements (aria-live) for the toast notification and the Scout chat assistant’s responses.

Ongoing Efforts

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. This was a first accessibility pass on the Site rather than a full, professionally audited WCAG remediation, and some third-party embedded elements (such as Stripe’s hosted checkout page) are outside our direct control. We are continuing to review the Site against WCAG 2.1 AA over time.
