Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to misuse, interfere with, or attempt unauthorized access to the Site or its underlying systems.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including the Foundcheck scoring methodology, text, design, and branding, is the property of Foundcheck or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or redistribute it without our prior written consent.

No Offer or Investment Advice

Nothing on the Site constitutes an offer to sell or a solicitation to buy any security or investment, nor investment, legal, financial, or tax advice. Foundcheck is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or funding source. Consult your own qualified advisors before making any financial or business decision.

The Foundcheck Score and AI-Generated Content

Your Foundcheck Score is generated by a deterministic, rules-based scoring engine applied to the information you provide; it is not verified against external records and should be treated as an illustrative, informational tool, not a certification, audit, or guarantee of your startup’s prospects. Advisor commentary displayed on the Site may be generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence, grounded in your submission, and is provided for general informational purposes only.

Payments

Paid features (Advisor unlock, Accelerator application, and Builder service) are processed through Stripe. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe’s applicable terms in addition to these Terms. Fees are described on the Site at the time of purchase.

Seed Funding Requests

Submitting the Seed Funding form is a request for a conversation with our team only. It is not an application for, offer of, or commitment to provide funding, and does not create any binding obligation on Foundcheck or the submitting party.

Third-Party Links

The Site may reference or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of those third parties.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Foundcheck shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
